Mobilitie, LLC is currently seeking a Acquisitions Compliance Associate to join our Acquisitions Team in Newport Beach.   Mobilitie is one of the largest privately held tower companies in the United States.  We currently own thousands of wireless sites throughout the US and have offices in Newport Beach, CA; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Washington, DC; Boston, MA; and Bellevue, WA.  We are the fastest growing private owner of wireless assets, and also own the largest fiber based wireless network in the United States.

Working closely with the Manager of Acquisitions as a senior member of the Acquisitions team, the Regulatory Compliance Associate will assist with all aspects of acquiring new assets, with an emphasis on compliance and regulatory analysis.  Primary responsibilities will be to conduct financial analysis and reporting on potential acquisitions, perform acquisition due diligence including geographic mapping, FCC/FAA filing, registration and ownership changes for Mobilitie's cell towers.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare reports summarizing and forecasting acquisition related activity and asset performance
• Assist in development and preparation of other regulatory reports and legal documents
• Responsible for Site Location Reports for all potential acquisitions including Site Maps, Business densities, traffic, frequency transmission and ownership.
• Register all acquisitions with FAA/FCC as well as complete ownership changes.
• Analyze, project, and model using Excel and other tools

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree required from four-year college or technical school with two or more years related experience and/or training. A Master's Degree and/or JD with a minimum of two to three years financial analysis and/or real estate experience is preferred.
• Individual will be detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Consulting experience with a ‘Big Four Firm' a plus
• Ability to navigate FAA/FCC systems for compliance purposes is desired with a thorough understanding of marking/lighting requirements for communication towers. Knowledge of glide slopes, charts, airport approaches and routes is also highly desired.
• Individual should have an advanced understanding of MS Excel with knowledge of VB preferred.
• Individual will be proficient in MS Access with experience in Business Intelligence applications preferred.
• Individual will possess excellent problem solving skills, coping capabilities, and have the ability to adapt to an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
