Mechanical Engineer - City of Tacoma

The City of Tacoma, Public Works Facilities Management Division is seeking a Professional Engineer to manage major maintenance, repair, enhancements, and replacement projects on City-owned facilities and component systems. This position will provide support for the implementation of a preventive maintenance program for our Facilities Maintenance team and will also support the divisions business process mapping and improvements. The position will work independently and with various consultants and contactors to prepare studies, technical specifications, engineering calculations and plans for a wide range of facility projects.

Licenses, Certificates and other Requirements:
Professional Engineering License at time of appointment with maintenance thereafter. May require a valid Washington Driver's License at the time of appointment with maintenance thereafter.
