Position Summary      

We are currently seeking outstanding individuals to join our Energy Efficiency Group to support regional utility sponsored energy efficiency programs. These individuals will provide strategic direction and implementation support to client initiatives that increase the market penetration of energy-efficient and renewable energy technologies in the commercial, educational, and governmental sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities include:

• Providing exemplary customer support and service.
• Contributing to the design and implementation of energy efficiency market transformation programs for the commercial, educational, and governmental markets.
• Benchmarking the energy performance of facilities and developing master energy efficiency plans.
• Providing technical assistance to commercial, educational, and governmental customers on the most cost-effective upgrades to reduce energy use.
• Conducting engineering and financial analysis to demonstrate the benefits (payback period, net present value, etc.) of energy efficiency upgrades.
• Using project management principals to deliver high-quality products and services to clients.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with key electric utilities, partners, market allies, and service providers.
• Preparing program status reports to accurately monitor progress towards clients' goals and report annual achievements.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree and CEM or LEED accreditation; or, ability and strong interest to obtain. Masters degree preferred.
• Experience using ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager to benchmark buildings.
• Ability to calculate payback periods, net present value
• At least 4 years experience in energy management services with educational and commercial facilities.
• Entrepreneurial drive and strong interest in energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Program management including budgeting, workflow management, and quality improvement.
