As a growing privately held owner/operator of multifamily assets nationwide, we’re seeking to add an Underwriting Analyst to our team.
Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of commercial real estate acquisitions/asset management/financing (e.g. debt/equity origination, underwriting, etc) experience.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Fully underwrite on average 2-3 deals per day.
- Perform in-depth market research
- Conduct exhaustive due-diligence including: land ordinance analysis, rent/sales comps, utility expense analysis, etc
- Interface with governmental bodies including tax assessors to understand and mitigate tax risk on both acquisitions and assets within the current portfolio
- Analyze performance of assets within the portfolio and prepare annual business plans for each asset
- Interface closely with operations department
- Assist in the preparation (including writing) of loan and acquisition packages sent to outside stakeholders
- Assist in transactional management including the order/review of: third party reports, title, etc. Ensure information is disseminated properly during an acquisition.
Requirements:
- Degree from top-school.
