We are looking to hire a Research QA Analyst based out of our Bethesda, MD office. The QA Analyst role serves as a critical check and balance on the quality of data produced by research for CoStar's entire product line. Its main focus is to perform audits on all research functions to ensure that the quality of data achieves the proper balance of quantity, comprehensiveness and accuracy for our current and future client base. - Perform audits on all portfolio research, field research and specialty research groups to validate that the proper research process is being followed and that the information collected is directly verified with the proper sources and is timely.
- Execute all audit methods - including contacts recently updated or past due, lease comps and sale comps - by effectively cross referencing public information sources and initiating direct follow-up phone calls to verify the quantity, accuracy and completeness of the information gathered; also includes sampling of SEC, field research and news generated leads to ensure capture, accuracy and timeliness of converting leads to listings/deals.
- Identify critical performance or workflow issues that need to be addressed immediately, consult with appropriate contacts and follow up to ensure that outlined issues have been resolved in an accurate and timely manner. Attend monthly meetings with research teams to outline common issues, areas of improvement and consistency with research process.
- Perform audits on, and assist with project management of, all research related offshore contractor work in India and the Philippines that supports daily research operations.
- Produce weekly audits results for assigned team/manager performance tracking. Analyze and translate audit results into clear and meaningful trends to be used for coaching and development opportunities.
