PURPOSE OF POSITION:

           To direct Facilities Management services and provide the first line of support to internal clients and Corporate Real Estate.  To support a safe, efficient and productive work environment through the use of project coordination and facility management practices.  Supports the Regional Business Continuity Plan from a facilities standpoint.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Move/Add Change Requests (MAC)§  Review, recommend up to $1,000.  Approve up to $1,000, implement with direction.  Review and respond to end user service requests.Facility Management§  Recommend initiatives, obtain vendor quotes.  Management of building repairs with single vendorsProject Coordination§  Attend meetings as required.  Coordinate on-site issues, obtain vendor quotes.  Work with assigned vendors, prepare purchase order requisitions.  Ability to read and comprehend basic architectural drawings.Finance and Administration§  Review approved budgets, recommend expenditures.  Review invoices and recommend payment related MAC’s and facility management services.Landlord Support§  Coordination and administration of Landlord Services in leased facilities, where there is an on-site landlord presence and assistance§  Understand key lease terms and landlord responsibilities when dealing with local operational matters§  Have an awareness of the Property and Liability Insurance coverage to ensure compatibility with leased property obligations.  Follow the program guidelines to ensure risks and potential losses are minimized.Health & Safety§  Actively participate on the local Health & Safety Committee and ensure completion of all related Health & Safety issues are addressed and resolved.  Ensure all standard precautions, evacuation; resumption plans are in effect for fire and other emergency situations (exit plans, warden training, fire drills).Business Continuity Planning (BCP)§  Coordinates and supports the premises portion of the Business Continuity Plan for specific sites.  Schedule and coordinate annual fire drills and fire warden training.Security§  Under the direction of Real estate and the Chief Security Officer, ensure company policy and procedures are strictly adhered to.  Identify improvements or enhancements to existing systems or procedures.§  Administration of all access requests and devices.Critical Environments§  Under the direction of Real Estate ensure facilities guidelines for the Critical Environments (i.e. LAN, DCR rooms) at production sites are respected and enforced.Design/Planning§  Assist with obtaining requirements from end users, record and track changes to space occupancy.Contract Administration. § Review and recommend facility supply and service contracts

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:§  7+ years of related  Facility and Project Management experience§  Receptive to flexible working hours with the ability to be ON-CALL 24.x7.  §  Strong awareness of industry standards, trends and best practices§  Highly developed organizational & interpersonal skills including the ability to solicit cooperation and resolve conflict§  Good communication skills, both verbal and written§  Team oriented; action oriented, self motivated and delivery focused§  Budgeting and planning experience§  Management of a Security System
