FHA / HUD Analyst - Arbor Commercial Mortgage, LLC

Arbor’s Boston office has an immediate opening for an Analyst in the FHA/HUD financing group.  The main function of this position will be to assist the Underwriter(s) in analyzing, processing and packaging multifamily and healthcare facility loans under the applicable FHA loan programs. The Analyst will be responsible for the collection, packaging, review and reconciliation of loan application documents including financial/credit exhibitions under various underwriting programs. Other responsibilities include ordering and performing the preliminary review of all third party reports (appraisal, market study, engineering and environmental) for compliance with FHA/HUD guidelines. 

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline and have knowledge of multifamily and/or healthcare real estate and underwriting. Minimum of one year experience in the mortgage banking and/or finance fields.  Previous multifamily loan analysis and/or underwriting experience are a plus. Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word and possess excellent communication, multi-tasking, organizational and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will be hard working, a quick learner, detail oriented, well organized and have the ability to work alone as well as with others to reach a common goal.  Some travel may be required.
