Real Estate Investment Company focused on Healthcare sector with over $1 Billion portfolio is looking for director of treasury to join our team in Scottsdale.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages and produces the company-wide short term cash forecast
  • Manages the short-term investment portfolio and electronic funds transfers
  • Measures performance of the company's short term investment portfolio
  • Assesses counterparty and portfolio credit risk
  • Ensures compliance with internal cash controls, policies, and procedures for day-to-day supervision of cash management activities
  • Manage bank account administration including opening and closing accounts, updating signers.
  • Determine the appropriate bank account services to meet business requirements.
  • Oversee the company's banking platforms including managing online users, and user capabilities and access rights according to the applicable policy.
  • Manage Bank Fees and related expenses to fall within budget requirements, review and resolve discrepancies on a monthly basis.
  • Evaluates and recommends improvements to cash management processes and changes to bank relationships.
  • Ensures Treasury tools are updated for cash management process efficiency
  • Assures compliance with debt covenant requirements
  • Manage debt extensions and rollovers
  • Manages the company's daily cash position
  • Conduct borrowing and investing activity
  • Identifies and recommends improvements and cost savings to existing cash processes
  • Manages compliance with cash control procedures
  • Manages the Treasury budget and variance analysis
  • Manages bank relationships
  • Identifies cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities
  • Prepares ad hoc reports for internal and external distribution
  • Ensures compliance with all 404 SOX regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in related field, MBA preferred
  • MS Office applications
  • Treasury workstation familiarity
  • Minimum of 7-9 years of corporate treasury experience
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
