Position Summary Gulf Related seeks to hire a Development Analyst/Associate to focus on all aspects of real estate acquisitions and development including financial analysis and modeling, site acquisition and due diligence, zoning, legal, budgeting, construction and design. This role will ultimately be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This new hire must value entrepreneurialism and be able to thrive in a loosely structured environment with extremely ambitious colleagues who are passionate about real estate development and who regularly take on significant levels of responsibility.  The successful new hire will be a decisive, flexible, resourceful, good communicator and capable of applying exceptional judgment in dealing with people in different cultural settings.     Major Responsibilities ·         Conduct detailed financial analysis including transaction underwriting as well as administration of construction financing proceeds·         Author internal and external correspondence, including transaction and property descriptions, offering memoranda for asset sales and capital raisings, and responses to Requests For Proposals·         Manage appropriate filings for UAE government processes and approval of various development related programs and projects  ·         Conduct market assessments, site assessments, zoning assessments, and other due diligence related to site acquisition and development feasibility ·         Assist in a broad range of development activities including site acquisition, financing, approvals, design and construction monitoring, project branding, sales and marketing formation and implementation  Qualifications ·         Speak, read and write both English and Arabic on a business proficiency level ·         Strong familiarity with Abu Dhabi, Middle East and GCC region ·         Undergraduate degree from a top US or European university or college preferred ·         Minimum of two to four years of experience in real estate acquisitions/development, real estate corporate finance/mergers and acquisitions or real estate structured lending ·         Familiarity with real estate legal documentation ·         Strong quantitative, analytical and financial modeling skills ·         Good command of Microsoft Office software suite including extensive capabilities in Excel, PowerPoint and Word  ·         UAE Drivers’ License in good standing ·         Outstanding work ethic   Ideal Personal Profile  ·         An outgoing, dynamic, high-energy individual who is highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated ·         A smart, logical, disciplined thinker who is accustomed to working with colleagues who possess superior intellect ·         A results oriented individual with a bias toward action and a sense of urgency ·         A confident, reason-minded professional with the presence and good judgment to ensure effective interaction with all employees and candidates regardless of function or level ·         Superior written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills; an ability to impart a point of view in a consultative manner and convince others to support a new perspective ·         A strong commitment to integrity and superior standards  ·         An ability to work within, and be sensitive to, the variety of cultures in the Middle East ·         An ability to manage ambiguity and exhibit excellent judgment
