Facility Manager

This individual will be responsible for maintenance and operations at various sites in the area.  This includes supervising staff assigned to mechanical operations, programming, monitoring, alarm response, or other contracted activities; and managing vendor performance of subcontracted services, and communicating with client and service delivery team on all issues concerning contract execution.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Hiring, training, and scheduling staff needed to fulfill facility maintenance contractual obligations
• Communicating with client and other facility occupants to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintaining and updating all assigned systems
• Developing and implementing an employee training and development plan
• Providing regular management reports as requested by the facility maintenance team and client
• May be required to be on call 24/7 to provide telephone assistance as well as emergency response to the facility
• Ensuring compliance to all city, state, and federal license and certification requirements; and maintaining and submitting all records and documents to proper authorities
• Reviewing all work and assuring performance in accordance with established safety procedures
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures and adhering to company standards
• Participating in expense and capital development; and serving as client representative during the actual execution of projects

Qualified candidates must have 10 years’ experience in property or facility management and excellent written/verbal communication skills.  A Bachelor’s degree and RPA/CFM/CPM are preferred.
