Real Estate Analyst

A growing purchaser of distressed real estate debt is seeking a multi-talented real estate analyst to add to their team.  Primary responsibility will be preparing valuations and conducting due diligence review on a wide variety of commercial real estate properties.  Additional duties will include ordering and reviewing third party reports, performing market research, reviewing loan files, and preparing reports and presentations for senior management.  Secondary responsibilities will include assisting in the management and sale of the firm's REO. 

Qualifications:

• Two to five years of commercial real estate experience. Minimum of two years performing valuation work, either as an appraiser or as an analyst in an acquisitions environment.

• Ability to quickly understand the fundamentals of new markets.

• Ability to abstract commercial leases and understand commercial loan documents.

• Strong knowledge of Excel and Argus software programs.

• Willingness and ability to travel.

• Bachelor's degree required. Graduate degree preferred.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
