About:

The Benecki Center for Real Estate Studies, located at the Kelley School of Business, was established in 1985 to provide support for a variety of research and educational activities related to real estate. Today, the Center is engaged in a number of projects that involve working relationships with national real estate associations, including the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries, the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association, the Real Estate Research Institute, and the Appraisal Institute.

Program Highlights:

Indiana University, along with eight other Midwest universities, co-sponsored the fourth annual Collegiate Real Estate Conference. The conference was once again held at DePaul University in downtown Chicago and included a lunch and networking session. Students were given the opportunity to attend three of seven panels, choosing from Brokerage, Development, Lending, Property/Asset Management, REITS/Institutional Investment, Valuation/Consulting, and new this year, Non-Profit/Public Sector.
