Key Responsibilities:

The Asset Management Associate will provide critical analytical and operations support to Green Courte’s growing senior housing portfolio and will be an integral member of Green Courte’s asset management team. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and review weekly and monthly operational performance reports
  • Prepare and review benchmarking and variable cost data
  • Perform basic business analysis of ongoing property performance
  • Perform detailed financial analysis of value-add capital projects, including analysis of historical financial statements and preparation of cash flow projections, to assess investor risk and return
  • Perform analysis to support on-going asset management activities, such as repositioning, refinancing, and disposition
  • Perform market research, competitive analysis and asset-specific opportunity assessments in preparing detailed strategic business plans for each market
  • Work with third-party property managers to coordinate timely and comprehensive reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Work with third party engineers, consultants and contractors to complete property repairs, capital projects and expansions
  • Contribute to acquisition due diligence and closing process
  • Coordinate annual budget preparation for each property
  • Work with capital markets team to satisfy various lender reporting requirements


Key Impact Items

  • Contribute significantly to annual business planning process, including operational budget development and endorsement
  • Provide ongoing report maintenance and enhancement
  • Support portfolio-wide standardization of variable costs, operational processes and labor models


Experience and Qualifications:

  • BS in real estate, finance or accounting
  • 0-3 years of experience as a financial analyst for a real estate investment firm, or investment bank or other similar professional exposure
  • Proficient in financial modeling tools, including excellent Excel skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills and written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage and distill insightful conclusions from large volumes of data
  • Ability to be organized and detail-oriented and to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
