Greenroad Capital (Greenroad) is seeking to hire a Financial Analyst to work closely with senior management in all aspects of its business in New York.

Greenroad Capital specializes in opportunistic commercial real estate investments throughout the metropolitan New York City area. We are experienced in identifying and executing on high yielding and operationally complex investments, primarily in multifamily and office property assets. Our experience encompasses all aspects of the real estate investment lifecycle including sourcing, financing, management, leasing, and disposition.

 

Job Description:

Responsible for financial analyses of potential investment opportunities to support acquisition/disposition goals, as well as portfolio and asset-level analysis to support overall performance and value-added execution. The candidate will have the opportunity to join a small, entrepreneurial team, report directly to senior management, and manage a wide variety of real estate assets.

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support deal sourcing and underwriting including screening potential deals according to acquisition criteria.

  • Perform analytical functions to value the real estate using Excel and Argus models.

  • Analyze specific real estate markets and market niches with a focus on past and future trends in demographics, development, and leasing. 

  • Assist in the preparation of investor presentations and other marketing materials. 

  • Assist in due diligence of acquisitions.

Background and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. No MBAs, please.

  • 1-2 years of relevant real estate investment, acquisitions and/or finance experience.

  • Proficient knowledge of Excel required. Argus experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with NYC rent regulations is a plus.

  • A team player, able to work in an entrepreneurial environment, balance changing priorities/manage and coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Self-motivated and proactive with an established track record of effectively completing tasks independently.

  • Excellent organizational, writing and verbal communication skills.
