Sr. Analyst/Associate – Product Development

Clarion’s investment capabilities span the spectrum from core to opportunistic investments in both the equity and debt sectors.

The Sr. Analyst/Associate will be a member of Clarion’s Client Capital Management Group, reporting jointly to the Head of Product Development and the Group COO. The Client Capital Management Group at Clarion is responsible for raising capital for all Clarion products, currently targeted toward an institutional client base. New products contemplated will be designed for both institutional and retail investors.

• Support product development from R&D stage to product introduction (includes modeling, market research, project management, presentations, etc.)
• Analytical, due diligence and transactional support on new product ideas, acquisition and new business opportunities
• Detailed financial modeling of strategies/products to develop recommendations for product offerings, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions
• Preparation of materials used for investment memoranda, management presentations and pitch books
• Research and analysis of competitive products and overall market diligence

• Must have at least 2-4 years’ experience in financial services
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics preferred
• Prior investment banking or transaction-related experience preferred
• Experience and strengths in financial modeling and analysis, company valuation, business plan development, market/industry research and analysis
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment requiring attention to detail with minimal supervision
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes
• Excellent writing, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills
• Candidate should be proactive and self-motivated; attributes include strong work ethic, integrity and commitment to both team and individual project deadlines
