Pacific Eagle is actively developing high-density urban residential and hospitality projects, including 1931 2nd Ave in Seattle, two landmark developments at 555 Howard Street and 1125 Market Street in San Francisco, as well as residential properties in San Francisco and Malibu. The Development Team focuses on pre-development planning and owner representation throughout the development process, while our Construction Management team focuses on project delivery.


This is a demanding, all-round role for a talented young individual to gain comprehensive exposure to all aspects of the development trade and make an impact on the growth of a global organization. 

Supporting senior development, and construction professionals, you will be exposed to our residential, and hospitality development projects across in the Pacifid Northwest.

The role is suitable for an early to mid-career development professional to broaden her or his exposure in the field of urban, high-density mixed-use development with a global organization or a mid-career construction professional, who would like to transition into a development role.

Role & Responsibility

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work with development managers and vice presidents on project execution, analyses and reporting;
  • Maintain project schedules, pro-formas and budgets;
  • Project and track cash flows of development projects (including processing vendor invoices, and draw packages);
  • Develop feasibility studies for development alternates and approval memos;
  • Coordinate RFPs, bid interviews, proposal comparisons and levelling, as well as contracting activities;
  • Support coordination of consultants in the pre-development process;
  • Coordinate and attend project meetings (design meetings, OAC meetings, sales and marketing meetings etc), produce minutes and manage follow up;
  • Produce reports and presentations for senior management, including weekly project progress reports and meeting minutes;
  • Support the community and public affairs aspects of the development business;
  • Develop Word, PowerPoint and Excel templates to standardize the development management process;



As a successful candidate, you

  • Have 5-7 years hands-on experience in (a) construction management, or (b) real estate development - in particular in Seattle.
  • Hold a degree in (a) construction management, (b) civil or structural engineering, (c) real estate development, (d) architecture or (e) related fields;
  • Thrive in the pace and ambiguity of a fast-growing, evolving organization that charters new territory;
  • Are a driven self-starter with strong entrepreneurial mind-set;
  • Are an exceptional autonomous problem solver, eager and able to learn on the job;
  • Are a critical and creative thinker with strong analytical and quantitative skills;
  • Are detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and professionally;
  • Are a team player with strong interpersonal skills;
  • Have a facility for communication including writing, data visualization and presentation skills;
  • Are proficient in MS Office, in particular MS Excel, and MS Project;
  • Are willing to travel.
