Job Summary

•In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the regional facilities management service delivery team and the technical/critical environments support staff
•This position is responsible for actively managing the delivery of workplace services and seeking opportunities to expand the client relationship via value-added client solutions.
 

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to support and/or lead all aspects of a ~25 country FM service delivery model and ensure overall adherence to SLA’s, and KPI’s while maintaining a high-level of client satisfaction
  • Effectively communicate ideas and suggestions for process improvements and then execute strategies by developing action plans
  • Prepare and present oral/written presentations and strategic plans; including monthly reports and quarterly business reviews
  • Issue resolution, manage all follow up to resolution
  • Drive the Innovation program that ultimately identifies opportunities and/or resources to be delivered to the client
  • Manage the flow of key documentation and client communications
  • Identify efficiency and innovation as a means of enhancing end-user experience
  • Management of annual capital and operating expense budgeting
  • Recruits, hires and manages appropriate resources required for the delivery of services
  • Develop and implement annual budget with quarterly reforecasts
  • Oversee Workplace Operations, including: Facilities Management, Technical Services, and Energy Management
  • Provide leadership in developing sourcing strategies, supplier communications, RFP’s, cost analytics, category strategies, deal negotiations (contract terms and conditions, scopes of work, pricing, service levels, etc.), and contract administration
  • Prepare monthly reports, quarterly reports, annual budgets, and other reports as required
  • Provide a leadership role in managing critical environment incidents and business continuity plans
  • Maintain and foster good vendor relations with third party contractors relative to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, general housekeeping and other property infrastructure
  • Conduct monthly inspections and quarterly audits of property
  • Respond to emergencies and perform tasks required for protection of property and well-being of occupants
  • Provide hands on, high touch customer service to diverse client base
 

Requirements

  • Four year college/university degree required - advanced degree is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Workplace services (facility management) including at least 4 years at a Manager/Director level
  • Proficiency in Spanish is required and Portuguese is a plus
  • CFM, FMA, SLCR, CCIM, CPM industry certifications recommended; other Engineering, Business or technical training or certifications a plus
  • Facilities procurement experience as a third party provider or end user, sourcing services including landscaping, HVAC maintenance, predictive maintenance, janitorial services, etc., in union and non-union environments
  • Must have both breadth and depth of experience in construction methodology, engineering and all facets of a portfolio operation and building management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required

  • Must have strong management and leadership skills and experience with human resource and performance management processes
  • Accomplished client relationship management and interpersonal skills
