DHC has an immediate need for an experienced individual to assist with all aspects of acquisition and management of properties in the firms growing investment portfolio which includes retail, multi-family, hotel, and parking.  This individual will assist in targeting assets for acquisition, closing acquisitions, and executing asset business plans including execution of capital projects and lease-up programs.  The ideal candidate has an advanced degree, related experience in real estate, and is a diligent worker with excellent written and oral communication skills.  This is an Exciting Career Opportunity with tremendous growth potential for someone with a strong interest in real estate investment.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct due diligence on and assist in the closing of new acquisitions

  • Assist with acquisition underwriting and budgeting for existing assets

  • Reviewing marketing, PR, and social media initiatives with marketing teams

  • Conduct property site inspections and market research

  • Present property status updates during committee meetings and conference calls

  • Interface with clients, bankers, investors, property managers, attorneys and third party consultants



  • BS/BA, preferably in real estate, finance, accounting, or business

  • 2 years real estate related experience

  • Advanced Excel modeling skills and competency in other MS Office applications

  • Diligent, highly accurate and extreme attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills

  • Demonstration of critical thinking and problem solving

  • Excellent communication, team work and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
