Wealth Management (WM): Wealth Management business is a leading provider of financial services to high-net worth clients through Wells Fargo Private Bank, and to the affluent segment through partnerships between Wealth Brokerage Services and the Community Bank. In Wealth Management, clients are provided with a complete range of solutions to help them manage, preserve and transfer their wealth.

As an investment manager oversees a client’s portfolio of various financial assets such as stocks and bonds, the real estate asset manager oversees the performance of the client’s portfolio of real estate assets that range in type from retail, office, multi-family, and industrial properties to single family homes, and vacant land.

The role of the Real Estate Asset Manager is to service the real estate asset management needs of our clients and partner with our sales team to develop new real estate asset management business through internal networking and partnering. 

Responsibilities include: asset and/or property management for all aspects of a client’s real estate portfolio; engaging and managing third party vendors (property managers, brokers, attorneys, consultants, etc.); preparing financial analyses and investment proposals for clients; structuring and executing transactions to achieve investment objectives; developing and maintaining client relationships; and working with an internal team to prepare recommendations for clients. 


Provides real estate asset management expertise and high levels of client service for a complex portfolio of real estate assets in accordance with client investment needs, fiduciary standards, and the bank’s policies and procedures.

Provides clients with solutions to complex real estate problems; designs, structures, and manages individual assets or portfolios to meet specific client objectives and investment performance; provides in-depth analytics to ensure client portfolios are properly diversified.

Acts as the real estate representative for internal partners focusing on exceptional service delivery and business expansion in the geographic area identified.

* This position will be sitting in either our 1000 Louisiana, Houston, TX or  171 17th St NW, Atlanta, GA location.

Required Qualifications


  • 3+ years of real estate relationship management experience

  • New business development experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of estate, trust, or fiduciary administration
  • Strong computer modeling skills including robust Excel and Argus capabilities
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of asset management
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of wealth management
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills


Other Desired Qualifications

  • CCIM or CPM strongly desired
  • Advanced commercial real estate industry experience
  • Relationship management and asset management (and/or property management) and business development experience in an environment serving private, high net worth clients (not institutional).
  • Proven ability to manage real estate assets in a consultative fashion for clients and professionally executing acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and/or project management assignments for various property types and other complex assignments
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and enhance client relationships leading to increased revenue
  • Sound judgment, problem solving, and risk assessment in the application of analytical conclusions and management recommendations
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships and work effectively in a team environment
  • Superior working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • MBA in real estate or finance
  • Knowledge of financial or estate planning
  • Knowledge and expertise in financial modeling
