The CenterCap Group is looking to hire 1 – 2 investment banking senior analyst(s) / junior associate(s) to work with the firm’s senior bankers in originating, evaluating and executing strategic consulting, capital raising and M&A assignments for our real estate operating company and investment management clients.

The successful Senior Analyst / Junior Associate candidate will

  • Conduct due diligence investigations of client companies, summarize financial findings and advise accordingly
  • Create detailed memoranda and presentations describing the key features of client companies
  • Prepare complex financial analyses, reports and models to evaluate corporate and real estate asset level transactions
  • Perform valuation analyses using appropriate corporate finance/M&A methodologies
  • Research potential buyers/investors and follow market trends. 
  • “Drive the Deal” – understand the appropriate deal approval and documentation
  • Express ideas in an organized, persuasive and articulate manner and keep team members informed of client discussion and relevant issues

 

Experienced analysts and associates will be provided the opportunity to interface with clients directly. As such, excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. The successful candidate also will participate in franchise building activities such as recruiting and will attend corporate/culture building activities.  

All team members are expected to perform all tasks with high standards and ethics. Knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues will be expected.  Further, successful team members are self-motivated, consistently reliable, work well under deadline pressure, have excellent problem solving skills/analytical ability, are detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task. Experienced team members are expected to mentor others in the group and serve as a role model to those more junior.

Job Requirements 

Bachelor’s or Masters degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related field.  Course in chartered accountancy a plus.

At least two (2) years of relevant experience.

Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Appropriate regulatory licenses will be required.

Authorized to work in the United States.
