Job purpose

 

The goal of this position is to drive occupancy growth for our portfolio, prospect for potential tenants and work incoming leads to continuously fill and manage a pipeline. As a result-turning prospects into tenants, achieving the right tenant mix for our portfolio and increasing occupancy rates.

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Tremendous follow-up
  • Presentation skills
  • Prospect and canvass for prospective tenants
  • Present properties and provide amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants
  • Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promoting materials
  • Stay knowledgeable on industry and market trends
  • Attend broker events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and work closely with property management, legal, and other departments to close deals

 

 

Education & Qualifications

 

  • 1+ years experiences as leasing agent
  • Working knowledge of retail trends and leasing practices
  • Track record of being successful in sales
  • MS Office familiarity is a must
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Forward thinking and driven individuals with marketing and sales skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • LOVE of retail…must be a student of this ever-changing industry
  • Bachelors degree in real estate, business, or similar
