Position Overview:

Campus Apartments is seeking an Investments Analyst for immediate hire to be involved in all aspects of the Company’s investment activities, ranging from initial investment analysis of potential acquisition and development opportunities through on-going asset management and venture level reporting.  The Analyst will report to the Senior Vice President of Investments and support several members of our Investments Team.

Responsibilities:

Prepare comprehensive financial analyses for prospective acquisitions, as well as development opportunities using proprietary Excel models.
Conduct market research for investment opportunities, as well as 3rd party management and consulting engagements.
Prepare performance reports on a quarterly basis at the property and fund level.
Assist in the due diligence and closing process.

Qualifications:

Strong quantitative background and understanding of financial analysis concepts (DCF, IRR, etc.)
Intermediate-Advanced Excel modeling skills; proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
Outstanding academic credentials (an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Real Estate is preferred).
