Lead the global strategy and analytics team for Citi’s Real Estate Services Division.
The strategy and analytics team is the control group for all large financial commitments related to Citi’s Corporate Real Estate Portfolio.This team is responsible for reviewing the work of the local business evaluation and business office teams to ensure that the comparative analytics and recommendations are:
Framed properly to capture the full extent of the differences between options
All financial representation is correct in terms of the economics, balance sheet and income statement implications – including coordination and agreement from various stakeholders such as Finance, Accounting Policy, Treasury, Corporate Governance, etc.
Manage team of analysts in support of large transactions and establishing best practices for analytical approach, presentations, and approval processes.
Oversee development and quality control of analytics to support management decisions primarily for consolidations, dispositions, purchase/lease, city plans, business specific planning/review, and sale/leaseback.
Coordinate with various stakeholders across the organization, such as Regional Asset Managers, Business Users, Resource and Location, Accounting Policy, Treasury, Legal, Tax, Finance, and Corporate Governance.
Liaison with CRS, Finance, and Regional staff to:
Develop the operating and capital budgets
Manage routine reporting and forecasting of these budgets.
Support the Region and Function Heads in routine and ad hoc financial reviews and reporting
Manage the development, maintenance, reporting and review of all productivity initiatives.
Develop presentations of key projects within CRS, guide and influence occupancy strategies, including through comprehensive and accurate financial analyses in accordance with accounting standards.
Manage monthly operating report process and presentations for senior Enterprise Infrastructure and CRS management.
Ensure an effective and efficient control structure and properly manage financial (transactional economics) and performance (metrics) risk.
10-12 Years of Experience in Accounting and Finance, including relevant Real Estate industry experience.
Ability to develop complex financial models and related presentations.
Strong Leadership skills including ability to lead and motivate a global team, strong relationship skills, the ability to drive results and be personally accountable for outcomes
Track record of success being a Relationship Manager and providing Financial Support to Business Customers.
Strong Communication Skills, both oral and written, with the ability to develop and deliver clear and concise presentations
Demonstrated experience leading in complex, matrixed organizations managing multiple priorities, prioritizing and delivering
Strong understanding of US GAAP
Ability to influence with /without authority
Proven ability to understand and adjust to various levels of political influence in an organization
