A fast-paced, growing Real Estate Investment/Property Management Company is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team! This candidate must be a detailed-oriented, self-starter that is eager to learn and grow in their position and within the company. The individual must be a team player that can work independently and must be able to multi-task and prioritize work load. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Reconciliations
  • Journal entries into the accounting software
  • Record cash receipts and make bank deposits
  • Monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts
  • Periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
  • Quarterly and year-end tax preparation
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management, as requested
  • Answers all vendor inquiries
  • Special projects, as necessary


Qualifications and Skills

  • Associates or Bachelor's' degree in Accounting OR Finance Preferred
  • Will consider experience in lieu of education requirement
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience in a small business environment
  • Proven ability to handle the day to day accounting
  • Must have knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficiency in Excel required
  • Experience with QuickBooks a plus
  • Experience with Property Management Software
  • Experience in Real Estate industry is preferred
  • Problem Solving skills, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Thoroughness, Team Player, Multi-tasking skills, Strong communication skills, pleasant personality and capable to meet work deadlines.
