ACORE Capital is seeking an Associate to analyze, value, and assist in the oversight of our structured real estate debt portfolio.  Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, work effectively in teams, and be capable of handling multiple simultaneous assignments in a fast-paced environment. 

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with a seasoned, client-facing team responsible for large, structured, institutional real estate mortgage and mezzanine loans collateralized by multiple property types.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related area with real estate coursework preferred
  • Keen understanding of real estate debt and equity markets
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Argus is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of two years of commercial real estate finance or related experience  



  • Provide continuous surveillance of structured loans
  • Perform periodic covenant testing; create and maintain cash flow models and other financial projections using Excel, ARGUS, and additional underwriting tools
  • Review loan servicer's monthly cash management waterfalls
  • Analyze borrower draw requests and prepare internal funding recommendations
  • Participate in scheduled borrower review calls
  • Quantify performance of an assigned pool of loans
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of quarterly portfolio reviews to senior management and capital partners
  • Review and analyze property budgets; incorporate into annual loan business plans and present to the Head of Asset Management.
