Purpose of Position:

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join our Los Angeles office. This position will be responsible for working within a top tier team and be a thought and operational leader in developing innovative business pursuit responses for clients across the U.S. platform. 

The Senior Marketing Manager is a key function within Colliers Business Development Center (BDC) based in Los Angeles, California.  Primary BDC services include advisory and hands-on development of high value pursuit responses.  The BDC has a well-established reputation for providing high quality strategic guidance and visually creative deliverables that lead to winning results.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist BDC Director in ensuring management and quality and operational control over core BDC functions and projects.
  • Assist internal clients in delivering top quality pursuits through strong thought leadership and direction.
  • Serve as main point-of-contact between BDC and internal clients for assigned projects.
  • Maintain accuracy of internal project management system and required reporting.
  • Lead marketing managers/project coordinators through project process to develop their skill sets.
  • Pursue and help maintain relationships with key company stakeholders.
  • Serve as point of contact/negotiator for department vendors.
  • Maintain department’s operating budget and expenses.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience and background in both institutional/private and leasing/investment commercial real estate required.
  • Diploma or degree qualification with a marketing/communication/business specialty.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes and systems (Coupa, Yardi, Nexus, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Adobe suite of products including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Experience and interest in presentation software and technology.
  • Ability to make effective presentations to Colliers employees, clients, and/or management.
  • Ability to solve problems through assessment and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Working hours include some nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service at all levels of the organization and with external partners
  • Possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong relationship-building ability, proactive, results-oriented, and resourceful
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, excellent product quality and attention to detail
