VP, Leasing - North Region (Burlington, MA)
The VP of Leasing will be based in our Burlington office and will have full leasing responsibility for a portfolio of approximately 70 properties in our North Region and a 4 person leasing team. The VP is responsible for managing & motiving the leasing team as well as sourcing and negotiating deals him/herself in order to maximize leasing performance in the region.



  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews with representatives providing strategic advice, Direct the leasing activities for the region via innovative and creative approaches to deal making ensuring the team and individuals are successful
  • Develop detailed regional market knowledge and nurture relationships with key real estate brokers and tenants. 
  • Continue to source and negotiate some of the larger/more complicated regional deals ensuring team meets its revenue goals and to teach/train the team
  • Lead a team of leasing professionals with various levels of leasing experience
  • Oversee regional leasing representatives' efforts in cultivating new tenant leads, leasing vacant space and managing lease renewals, providing guidance, expertise and advice
  • Market analysis and implementation of marketing strategies, continuous development of potential tenant lists and to ensure potential tenants are regularly contacted
  • Oversee financial analysis and regional tenant potential to determine income values, asset upside and key risk factors; provide critical analysis and ensure the essence of the deal has been captured


  • A BA/BS degree in Business, Economics or related field of study; and,
  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years of increasingly responsible retail real estate leasing
  • A demonstrated track record of completing successful leasing transactions in the retail real estate sector
  • A thorough understanding of the factors impacting leasing potential including market drivers, economic trends, retailers and operating expenses.
  • Sound leadership and management ability with a track record of staff development and issue resolution
  • Ability to lead/mentor a team of professionals with varied levels of leasing experience
  • Self starter; able to take initiative and make decisions with minimal direction in a high pressure environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively present information to senior management and outside business partners Superb attention to detail, equally strong analytical capabilities
  • Solid time management skills with ability to prioritize to successfully balance multiple tasks and requests
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Intermediate skill level of MS Word, Excel, Web Searches and Outlook
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
