Property Manager – Embarcadero Advisors, Inc.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Complete accounting and financial tasks including but not limited to preparing annual budgets, monthly management reports, monitoring and coordinating the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
Help facilitate the successful operation of the property by completing inspections, responding to tenant complaints and service requests, and ensuring the property is kept up to code.
Manage smaller construction and special projects.
Coordinate assigned contract bidding, vendor selection and contract negotiation and maintain vendor relationships, e g., janitorial, landscaping, etc.
Maintain lease files on all properties, including lease abstracts, rent rolls, stacking plans, and tenant certificates of insurance.
Provide administrative support as necessary including creating and maintaining database files, as well as physical and network filing systems.
Basic financial analysis skills a plus.
Qualified candidates will have:
A 4-year degree (experience in lieu of a degree will be considered)
2+ years of property management/commercial real estate experience required
Real estate license or ability to acquire the license within 6 months of hire
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks
High level of written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter, willing to take on additional responsibilities where needed
While this position primarily will focus on property management, the role is best suited for a dynamic individual who is interested in learning about the ins and outs of commercial real estate management, investment, leasing, and development.
Position is 9am-5pm, Monday through Thursday.
Pay is commensurate with experience.
