Property Manager – Embarcadero Advisors, Inc.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Complete accounting and financial tasks including but not limited to preparing annual budgets, monthly management reports, monitoring and coordinating the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

  • Help facilitate the successful operation of the property by completing inspections, responding to tenant complaints and service requests, and ensuring the property is kept up to code.

  • Manage smaller construction and special projects.

  • Coordinate assigned contract bidding, vendor selection and contract negotiation and maintain vendor relationships, e g., janitorial, landscaping, etc.

  • Maintain lease files on all properties, including lease abstracts, rent rolls, stacking plans, and tenant certificates of insurance.

  • Provide administrative support as necessary including creating and maintaining database files, as well as physical and network filing systems.

  • Basic financial analysis skills a plus.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • A 4-year degree (experience in lieu of a degree will be considered)

  • 2+ years of property management/commercial real estate experience required

  • Real estate license or ability to acquire the license within 6 months of hire

  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks

  • High level of written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter, willing to take on additional responsibilities where needed

While this position primarily will focus on property management, the role is best suited for a dynamic individual who is interested in learning about the ins and outs of commercial real estate management, investment, leasing, and development.

Position is 9am-5pm, Monday through Thursday.

Pay is commensurate with experience.
