The Assistant Development Project Manager (ADPM) will assist the A&R Development leadership team in the oversight of real estate projects from conception through design, construction, lease up, and stabilized operations. The ADPM will be involved with all elements of real estate ownership including development and asset management. The position works closely with both of the Company’s principals, and requires the ability to work both independently and in a small team environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering and/or architecture is the minimum formal education desired for this position. Strong competence in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project and Outlook) is required. A background in finance or project development is highly desirable.
Superior ability to professionally present information (verbally and in writing) in one-on-one and small group situations to clients, vendors, and other employees of the organization is required. Ability to comprehend and respond to verbal and written information conveyed by clients, vendors and other employees of the organization. Ability to enter, transcribe, record, store and maintain information in written and electronic/magnetic form. Position requires ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
Prior knowledge of finance real estate and affordable housing is highly desired. The ability to analyze financial data and create, understand, and monitor budgets and financial projections is required.
Superior ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution to resolve problems is required. Ability to identify the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts. Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Ability to determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment affect the outcome. Ability to identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve/correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
