KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, to join our Real Estate and Facilities Organization.



  • Manage and oversee firm’s office relocation, renovation and construction projects from start through completion
  • Establish procedures to effectively oversee and implement firm’s space standards, architectural, furniture and construction standards to provide the most cost effective solutions
  • Oversee and manage outside national professionals including architects, engineers, and specialty consultants throughout the design and construction process, as well as strategically manage the firm’s national security, furniture, lighting and carpet vendors
  • Administer general contractor selection process, prepare contracts for management review and oversee the general contractor during construction
  • Develop and monitor total project budgets and report results to management
  • Liaise with national leaders to review leases and identify issues that may impact successful implementation of projects


  • A minimum of twelve years of progressive architecture and construction experience, preferably in a professional services firm or similar environment
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university
  • Supervisory experience with the ability to direct divergent team members with different agendas and interests
  • Strong knowledge of architectural and engineering practices, construction practices and industry, furniture and furniture systems
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
