Senior Asset Manager   Washington DC Metro.  $175,000 - $220,000 + bonus

The Senior Asset Manager (similar to VP level) will be responsible for driving leasing financial and operational efficiencies of commercial assets within a regional territory.  The role will be tasked with identification of n development opportunities, as well as opportunities in repositioning the company’s existing assets, while managing the overall P & L of the portfolio.  The candidate would have proven experience managing an equivalent sized asset and worked to implement strategies to improve the operating expenditure and lease revenues while guiding leasing teams.  Providing support for real estate acquisitions and ground lease dispositions, you will manage the process of achieving high returns on the assets primarily through leasing, while developing budgets and strategies for capital improvements and operating expenses, while running proformas in ARGUS.  You will be responsible for developing business plans, managing portfolio risks and liabilities, aggressive leasing efforts, tenant relations. /management, developing, approving and presenting annual operating budgets, performing portfolio wide Quality Assurance Reviews and property audits, facility management, construction and provide thought leadership while functioning as a Senior Advisor relative to all asset matters and reporting into a Managing Director of Asset Management.

 

An understanding of the DC, VA real estate market would be considered an added advantage.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree or Equivalent in Real Estate Management, or Finance
  • At least 7-10 years in Commercial Asset Real Estate Management with proven leasing involvement and construction management exposure
  • Strong background in both asset management, financial analysis and property management
  • Ability to manage the financial implications of running a portfolio
  • Experience managing Commercial Class A Office Assets or Class A Mixed Use Assets
  • Ability to manage liabilities with bottom line perspective
  • Experience guiding leasing teams
  • Ability to make strong decisions, and allocate resources appropriately
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships
  • Advanced ARGUS knowledge - able to run valuations and proformas
  • Ability to look strategically at the big picture to identify programmatic and revenue enhancing solutions.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to autonomously manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives
  • Experience building financial models, and working with data sets
