Asset Manager, Multi-Family Empire USA, LLC - Santa Monica, CA
Empire USA LLC is searching for an experienced Asset Manager with direct experience in managing multi-family assets. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of direct exposure to managing apartment buildings, including oversight over third party management companies that are primarily responsible for the day to day operations of the assets. Additional consideration will be given to those candidates that also have experience in managing hotel assets.

Empire's focus is on hiring versatile, talented, and seasoned real estate professionals. The Asset Manager position exemplifies this strategy, with additional consideration being given to asset management professionals with direct experience in managing reposition and renovation projects as well. This position will play an integral role for Empire, coordinating the oversight of the company's portfolio, and actively participating in a a variety of different renovation related activities alongside the Project Manager.
Interacting directly with third party management firms, this position will assist in tracking and pushing asset performance, via analysis and application of up to date market and submarket data, and identifying value add opportunities that will further drive revenues and provide the best return on each dollar spent. Utilizing critical analysis, and industry standardized methods and software, the Asset Manager tracks gross and net revenues versus anticipated budgeting , manages advertising and leasing via third party operating companies, oversees and directs unit renovations and the curing of deferred maintenance, and assists with the repositioning of each asset to maximize value.
In addition, the Asset Manager is responsible for highlighting and curing operational inefficiencies. The Asset Manager will actively track each operating teams' leasing performance, operating expenses, and strive for the highest efficiency in terms of both results attained and time and dollars spent.
