We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work in the position of “Consulting Manager”. This position is based out in our San Diego, CA office and will be part of our national team that advises real estate executives with strategic planning, market and consumer research, and trusted analysis.
The Manager will conduct and oversee project-specific analyses for clients' new projects, advising them on market conditions and making critical recommendations on development strategy, product decisions and marketing. Reports and other deliverables will draw from work in the field, interviews and careful study of market data. This will encompass information about competing properties, listings, sales rates, social and economic demand factors and potential restrictions from government and site-specific factors.
This role calls for someone with an analytical mind. The position could be an invigorating opportunity for a career homebuilding professional in strategic sales and marketing, consumer research or acquisitions. A bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of experience working for a home builder or residential developer is required. The Manager needs strong market knowledge of the residential homebuilding industry. Client interaction will require exceptional writing skills and interpersonal communication with people at all levels. At the same time, analysis duties call for advanced Excel knowledge, market research skills and project management experience.
