The Wilder Companies is a Boston-based national retail real estate development, management, and leasing firm specializing in the positioning of retail properties.

Privately held and owner managed, Wilder's mission has been and continues to be to create vibrant shopping places that meet and exceed the expectations of customers, retailers, and investors. The Company currently has a diverse portfolio of properties throughout the East Coast.

Wilder is looking for an analyst to join their growing team.  The position will report to the Director of New Business Development and be responsible for researching, identifying and prospecting potential opportunities; providing market research; and maintaining databases for tracking information.  This is an exciting opportunity to join an established company with an entrepreneurial atmosphere and long-term growth potential.

Job Duties and Responsibilities


  • Screen new acquisition opportunities
  • Conduct market and property due diligence, including lease and void analysis, competitive property review, etc.
  • Prepare investment and business plans for deal pipeline meetings and investment committee
  • Assist with the preparation of industry and market overview presentations
  • Coordinate due diligence and closing process, including third party reports, and property level information
  • Underwrite potential deals including excel modeling and Argus


  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • 1-3 years of work experience (preferably in commercial real estate, but not required)
  • Strong financial modeling experience including proficiency in Argus (candidates should expect to be tested).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, presentation and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
