Position Summary

Akelius Associate Property Managers in responsible for day to day operations of several properties in our Boston portfolio



The Associate Property Manager will provide world class customer service to tenants and customers. You will be responsible for the overall day to day operations including:


  • Communicate with residents and respond to resident concerns
  • Manage facilities staff
  • Manage work order delegation and completion
    • Scheduling
    • Special Projects
    • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Task List
    • Weekly meeting with facilities team
    • Preventative maintenance schedule
  • Oversee compliance of all property documentations, contracts, and leases
  • Legal/Collections tracking Insure all properties are kept Neat and Tidy
  • Coordinate property Visits & Inspections
  • Coordinate with construction personal in relation to in-suite and Standard Measurements renovations
  • Building notices
  • Lease Renewals
  • Weekly reporting
    • Work order in-bound and completed
    • Move-in and move-outs
    • Delinquent residents
    • Current in-suite and Standard Measurements
    • Weekly facilities goals and completion of goals

Requirements and Qualifications

  • College Degree
  • Three plus years of experience in property management or hospitality
  • A track record of success building, developing and retaining high-performance teams
  • A track recording of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, investors, ownership group sand vendors
  • Experience managing a budget
  • Proficiency with industry software (YARDI), apps and computer programs
  • Strong financial skills with basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbally
  • Property Manger license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire) where applicable
