The Property Management Construction Coordinator is the primary liaison on all projects for the Construction Management Department and works closely with the Property Management team and building residents.
Manage written and verbal resident relations communications.
Perform new construction kick-off meetings.
Work closely with the Construction Management and Property Management teams to:
Schedule environmental testing and remediation efforts.
Post on-site resident notices concerning:
Upcoming construction projects.
Construction progress and/ or change of schedules.
Utility disruptions both planned and unplanned.
Understand, and keep all stakeholders apprised of, schedule changes related to construction activities & resident accommodation requests.
Respond to all incoming resident concerns related to building renovation projects.
Respond on-site when construction activities cause significant or emergency impact to a unit. Facilitate communication with residents to ensure swift resolution and appropriate response to issue(s).
Under the direction of Portfolio Manager & Director of Property Management work closely with residents to arrange accommodations in the event construction will significantly impact their quiet use and enjoyment of an apartment and/ or unit damage has occurred.
Preferred Qualifications & Competencies
Experience: 3+ years working in a professional business environment and demonstrates:
Prior property management experience is a plus
General understanding of residential construction process is a plus
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results driven
Detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional organizational and written and verbal communication skills
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to co-workers, tenants, clients and vendors.
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; must meet deadlines and perform job functions within outlined expectations.
Education: College Degree or equivalent in general business, liberal arts, or other.
