For our Associate of Asset Management, we are ideally looking for someone who comes from a Property Management background (preferably focused on Industrial, Office, or Retail properties) who would like to focus on operations at a higher portfolio level rather than the property level. Your understanding of how to effectively oversee a property or construction project is invaluable. You’ll have the opportunity to partner with 3rd party vendors and provide assistance on the oversight of capital expenditures, budgeting, reporting and due diligence. This position will need to display a high level of understanding for the nuance of how a portfolio operates.
Essential Job Duties:
The position will work within the Asset Management Group and assist in operating and reporting on a growing regional portfolio. Currently the portfolio stands at approximately 8 million square feet (42 buildings) located in 4 states. Specific responsibilities include:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree. A minimum of 3 years direct experience in property management or asset management is preferred. Demonstrated budgeting skills, including Yardi and Excel applications are preferred. A team-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communication skills who is comfortable working in a very entrepreneurial environment required. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage transactional details required. Ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships required. Ability to travel domestically required.
