Position Title: Loan Administration Specialist II
Supports: Loan Origination & Loan Administration
Reports to: Loan Administration Manager
Ensures the prescribed and timely processing, packaging and monitoring of loan submissions from inception through Loan Committee approval process. Ensures that documents are complete, accurate and in place and that CCRC is fully secured.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Performs due diligence on pending transactions. Interfaces with Loan Officers and Borrowers to determine checklist items needed for new applications. Follows up with Borrower to obtain required documentation prior to deadline date for Loan Committee presentation.
Initiates the due diligence process on all pending loans for funding.
Assists in the preparation of loan documents; merges variables into form documents and inputs corrections/changes.
Orders title reports and underlying documents; credit reports, appraisal and environmental reviews, UCC lien searches, flood certifications, hazard insurance and tax service contracts.
Coordinates with the Borrower when completed documents and notes are ready for signature. Functions as a liaison between borrower and loan officer from loan approval to obtaining borrower’s signatures on completed loan documents.
Reviews and monitors returned documents; verifies all documents are in place prior to funding; recommends funding based upon receipt of completed documents and compliance with all conditions of loan approval. Interfaces with Escrow and Title to coordinate loan closing.
Assembles new loan files.
Prepares binders with all legal documents and audits loan files on all closed loans to ensure audit compliance.
Performs photocopying of loan documents for Borrowers and investors and other loan related items as needed.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Two to three years experience working in a real estate lending environment. Ability to perform daily tasks with minimal supervision.
Good written and oral skills. Ability to interface with customers, loan officers and co-workers.
Ability to prioritize; detail oriented and multi-task functioning.
Good computer skills essential with experience in Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, network and email; strong skills in the merge function of Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheet capability; must be familiar with sorting files in Excel.
