Supervisor: Director of Real Estate
Type of Position: Full time
A privately held company that manages various operations, investments, and real estate. Real estate holdings include extensive land holdings throughout the southeast as well as office, commercial, industrial, and single-family properties.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and be comfortable with handling numerous assignments at one time. Duties include:
Assisting related companies with site selection for new locations and manage the process from acquisition through development.
Conduct property inspections of company owned real estate, perform market research and internal valuations, and assist in contract and lease agreement negotiations.
Additional duties include working with outside vendors, tenants, and consultants as well as handling property tax appeals, zoning matters, building permits, and property valuations.
Limited travel is required.
5-7 years of commercial real estate management, appraisal and brokerage.
A good understanding of legal and financial aspects of a transaction as well as strong written, verbal, and computer skills (analytical and report writing).
Bachelor’s degree and/or advanced degree and experience in related discipline (Business, Finance, Real Estate).
Certified General Real Property Appraiser is required
