Plum is growing our business team to help commercial real estate owners connect with better financing faster.  Reporting initially to our Chief Operating Officer as CRE Territory Manager, you will leverage our data science, your existing network, and your research to build a network of commercial real estate owners and their advisors, and initiate discussions with owners when they need financing.  You will initially train at our HQ in San Francisco and once in the field, continue to work closely with our Commercial Real Estate group to agree terms with the owner, and convert interest into loan applications.  


  • Build a network of commercial real estate (CRE) owners and their advisors in Provo and Ogden. 
  • Initiate discussions with owners at the time when they need financing; qualify opportunities and manage the engagement of the San Francisco based CRE team in the process of agreeing loan terms.
  • Work with owner, advisors and CRE team to move loan process through to application stage.  Step into process as needed to maintain engagement and progress with all parties.
  • Develop strong working relationships that will lead to future business from the network.
  • Work with marketing team to develop strategies to support your development of a network of owners and advisors.



  • 4+ years of sales experience in local market working for a bank, brokerage company, investment bank, or other lending institution.
  • Good working understanding of credit analysis, underwriting and CRE lending.
  • A prior track record of success in sourcing and closing $1-25 million CRE loans.
  • An existing network of relationships in Provo and / or Ogden.
  • Experience using persuasive, solutions-based selling skills.
  • Ability to connect quickly with people in an outgoing, friendly and professional manner.
  • Highly driven, focused and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to work remotely.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial behaviors.
  • An undergraduate degree.
  • Appropriate license preferred but not required (NMLS is not required).
