Analyst, Multi-Family Empire USA, LLC - Santa Monica, CA

Job Description:
Empire USA, LLC is searching for an experienced analyst to contribute to asset management and acquisition teams for a multi-family portfolio.

Empire USA is an established investment firm with a 30+ year track record of successful ventures in the multi-family and hotel sectors of real estate. Operating in multiple Tier I markets across the Western US and Hawaii, Empire has assembled a premium portfolio in cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and Las Vegas. Empire has consistently grown returns through a disciplined approach of acquiring assets at below market bases in premium locales, at opportunistic times in each economic cycle. Combining that approach with a variety of value add strategies has led Empire to consistent growth year over year, and the generation of above market returns over the past four decades of real estate.

Position Summary:
Empire's focus is on hiring versatile, talented, and seasoned real estate professionals and is seeking an individual with direct experience sourcing and overseeing the acquisition process for multifamily and hotel properties.

This individual will have experience overseeing the entire multifamily investment process from acquisition through asset management, including underwriting, reviewing due diligence material, and communication with third-party management companies, to ensuring all pertinent objectives are met. In addition, this individual will initiate and maintain relationships with the brokerage community, lenders, and title/escrow representatives.

  • 4+ years of direct experience working on the asset management and acquisition of multi-family assets in California (additional consideration given for hotel experience)
  • A 4 year degree from an accredited school (Business, Real Estate, Accounting or Finance preferred)
  • Identify multifamily and hotel opportunities throughout West Coast
  • Provide analysis and input on Owner’s behalf to 3rd party property management companies
  • Network with brokers and owners
  • Perform market studies
  • Help maintain the acquisition pipeline
  • Create financial forecasts
  • Oversee and update financial analyses
  • Travel to properties
  • Assist in other special projects and assignments as they may arise
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • The ability to rotate attention between multiple assets and related projects
  • Inherent problem solving ability. This position requires critical thinking and a disciplined approach to a wide range of tasks

Above all, Empire is looking for talented and seasoned real estate professionals. Specific qualifications and experience are required, but a disciplined approach, natural problem-solving ability, and an aggressive can-do attitude is equally, if not more, important. If you feel like you resemble the above qualifications, we would like to hear from you.
