Title: Vice President

Position: Finance, Acquisitions and Development

Reports to: the partners of Trinity Capital



  • Participate in the upfront evaluation of all new acquisition and development projects for the firm

  • Prepare and present project proformas as the chief underwriter for all Trinity Capital projects, both internally and to potential investors and lenders

  • Responsible for structuring (and sometimes restructuring) the capital stack on all Trinity projects

  • Responsible for sourcing debt capital for firm’s projects, developing and maintaining relationships with lending community

  • Lead all due diligence and closing efforts for new investments of the firm

  • Maintain relationships with both individual and institutional equity investors on all projects acquired and developed by Trinity

  • Review and comment on partnership agreements and loan documents

  • Supports Asset Management, Controller and project staff in preparing annual budgets and quarterly asset plans, analyzing leasing decisions, loan draws and other loan related items

  • Supervises and provides oversight to team analyst


  • 5 + years of relevant real estate acquisitions and disposition experience

  • BA or BS; Advanced degree preferred

  • Robust quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to multi-task and respond to a variety of stakeholders across numerous subject matters and disciplines

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and Argus
