To facilitate our continued portfolio growth, ACORE Capital – one of the largest-scale and most active private debt lenders, exclusively focused on transitional commercial real estate with $7.8 Billion Assets under Management in real estate credit strategies (as of 12/18/2017) - has an ongoing need for motivated, team oriented Analysts, Associates, and seasoned VP level professionals for its national Asset Management team in Dallas, Texas. 

These client-facing positions are responsible for protecting and enhancing asset value and investor returns by monitoring, facilitating, analyzing, and reporting on the performance of large, structured, institutional, commercial real estate mortgage and mezzanine loans (hotel / hospitality, office, apartment / multifamily / student housing / condominium, mixed-use, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Understanding of real estate debt and equity markets
  • Applicable commercial real estate finance, asset management, loan servicing, loan administration, or related experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, or Real Estate preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Argus or coding experience a plus
  • Great team player with good judgment and strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Interacts well at all levels

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide continuous surveillance of structured loans
  • Create and maintain detailed real estate financial projections
  • Analyze borrower draw requests and prepare internal funding recommendations
  • Borrower relationship management, including processing loan payoffs and loan modification, assignment, assumption, major lease approval, and other related consent requests
  • Participate in quarterly borrower performance review calls
  • Quantify performance of an assigned pool of loans; assist in the preparation and presentation of quarterly portfolio reviews to senior management and capital partners
