Within our multi-faceted organization, the Financial Services Division is seeking a Corporate Accountant to fulfill an immediate vacancy at our corporate headquarters.
Among the diverse duties of the Senior Accountant are the following responsibilities:
Responsible for all AP/AR functions for all accounts related to corporate operations. Provides monthly reporting to the Controller.
Tracks all escrow activity for both Commercial and Residential brokerage and performs month-end reconciliation to the G/L. Tracks commissions, draws, overrides and generates related reporting.
Performs reconciliations monthly draws, processing payables from the draws, perform general ledger accounting and reconciliations for multiple limited liability companies.
Prepares the in-house quarterly consolidation of all limited liability company financial reporting package for Board of Directors meetings.
Administers the commercial credit card program through Wells Fargo for approximately 25 users.
Responsible for on-line banking approvals or initiation of outgoing wires and other dual party access activity for on-line banking
Special projects as assigned by the departmental manager.
The ideal candidate should be degreed in accounting, having a minimum of 3 years of related experience. A bachelor’s degree in this field and a background in public accounting or familiarity in the real estate industry are the desired qualifications. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, knowledge of MRI is preferred.
Experience as a Nexus Payables System user is desired. Excellent analytical skills, ability to multi-task, and responsiveness to requests with accuracy and timeliness are a must.
