Job Description: Corporate Legal Assistant/Investor Relations
AION Partners, an owner and operator of office and multifamily assets nationwide and developer of New York City residential properties, is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant/Investor Relations that will possess a cooperative team oriented personal manner, with well-developed corporate and communication skills. One who takes initiative, has excellent time management, follow-through skills, and a strong drive to succeed. 
The Position:
This individual will be responsible for the company’s corporate law matters, such as maintaining all corporate record books and compliance of all entity formations. In addition, the candidate will be accountable for assisting with property closings, and coordinating directly with our investors and the firm’s principals and clients. 
Key responsibilities include:
• General corporate housekeeping matters;
• Filing Certificates of Formations/Incorporations as needed;
• Perform various administrative duties and technical/equipment support
• Maintain corporate records books for all entities;
• Handling public reporting and compliance of all entity formations;
• Assisting with preparing property closings;
• Proofread, research and handle pre and post-closing signature pages
• Correspond directly with investors
• Maintaining and uploading investor reports and documents to investor portal
• Maintaining confidential investor records
• Ensuring that investor records are up to date
• Responsible for responding to investor requests in a timely fashion thru the general email and investor portal
• Schedule meeting and conference calls with investors
• Participate in relevant social media activities if requested
A candidate should exhibit the following attributes:
• A BA/BS degree required
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in corporate matters
• Ability to Multi-task and shift direction easily
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Superior organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Professional
• Attention to detail and problem solving
• A positive and approachable demeanor
