Job Summary

Multi-housing real estate investment advisory.  This position will assist in the valuation, marketing and sales of commercial real estate.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Answering client requests for proposals

    • Perform complex financial modeling and spreadsheet analysis.

    • Coordinate information regarding market data, occupancy, expense analysis, maps, photography, rent and sales comparables.

    • Work on a team to prepare commercial real estate proposals and submissions for presentations to buyers.

    • Participate on property tours with producer and client

  2. Construct detailed marketing materials with a team which includes offering memorandums and email blasts

    • Craft narratives including location and market write-ups, strategy, and timelines.

    • Review all marketing materials for accuracy, spelling, and punctuation.

    • Interface with graphic designers.

    • Manage the production process to ensure quality, creativity, timelines and accuracy.

    • Respond to buyer questions regarding properties and the overall commercial real estate market.

  3. Assist with managing the due diligence and closing process after a buyer is awarded a deal

    • Facilitate the due diligence process of the sale by acting as single point of contact between seller and buyer.

    • Prepare weekly marketing update reports to clients.

    • Collect monthly operating statements and rent rolls on all active listings from clients and prepare revenue trend reports for internal and client review.

  4. Manage an internal database with a team to track market knowledge and develop quarterly market reports

    • Set up new deals on our web-based internal database and update status, dates, etc. throughout the deal process.

    • Organize and present data analysis, draw objective conclusions and make recommendations to producer and client. 

Experience Required

  • 1-3 years of experience in an analytical role in finance, lending, asset management, development, underwriting within the commercial real estate industry.

  • Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing and communication skills.

  • The ability to interface with top level executives.

  • Self-motivated, team oriented and strong time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently with a team player attitude.

Computer Skills

  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel and Word (Office 2013 version).

  • Database experience a plus.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Broker license a plus.
