Job Purpose (Job Summary):
The general role of the Summer Intern is to work within Invesco Real Estate's Global Client Portfolio and Product Management (“CPPM”) team. The individual will work closely with the team to help coordinate and facilitate the launch and ongoing marketing strategy for several closed end real asset investment vehicles. The role requires the ability to work across several Invesco teams, as well as external advisors, to ensure a structured approach, globally. The role requires a high degree of organizational and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Work with a Senior Team Member on the Product Management Team to develop an overall launch plan for new products. This requires frequent contact, communication and coordination with Invesco Real Estate’s CPPM and Portfolio Management teams.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing collateral and a marketing plan for new products.
  • Review existing funds in market and set ongoing marketing and distribution strategy and fundraising goals.
  • Support CPPM team and coordinate client/prospect outreach.
  • Work with CPPM and Portfolio Management teams to prepare for client pitches, presentations and reviews.
  • Maintain prospect/investor information and marketing plan in order to set objectives and timelines.
  • Research information in the real asset industry, including competitor funds and strategies.

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program - please indicate GPA on resume.

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be detail oriented and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
  • Must work well both independently, and as a team member, and be able to manage time under tight deadlines.
