Established and rapidly expanding Burlington, MA commercial real estate (CRE) firm seeks highly motivated Analyst to join our entrepreneurial team as we expand our portfolio through strategic institutional partnerships.

 

Primary Focus:

 

  • Assist with acquisition and investment, underwriting, processing and research
  • Assist in spearheading marketing efforts related to social media, technology and collateral
  • Assist with investment reporting and investor relationship management
  • Spearhead ad-hoc special projects

 

Description:

  • Assist in preparation of detailed financial proformas for prospective commercial real estate transactions, including: sponsorship analysis, market analysis, income and expense underwriting, real estate development budgeting, discounted cash flow modeling, capital structure analysis and sources and uses of funds schedules
  • Assist in the preparation of investor financial reporting, memorandums and other presentations
  • Canvas tenants, tour prospective tenants, prepare lease proposals and addendums
  • Create and organize market research information; lease comparables, market and demographic rate surveys, CoStar runs, Loopnet, etc.
  • Gather and maintain market and financial data
  • Input property financial and tenant information into Excel, Argus financial models and investor portals
  • Maintain investment level Excel and Argus models, databases and reporting software
  • Participate in operational, development, and leasing meetings and calls
  • Assist the executive team with transaction related activities such as exits/dispositions, major lease analysis and recapitalizations
  • Spearhead special projects
  • Fully utilize leasing and investor platforms
  • Assist with other asset management, property management, development and acquisitions related activities on an as needed basis
  • Execute company’s social media strategy

  • Desire to continue to improve and adapt
  • Highly proficient in all aspects of MS Office with advanced Excel skills required
  • Working knowledge of Argus and financial statements a plus
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take direction
  • Sharp analytical/quantitative capabilities, attention to detail and accuracy are critical
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize/keep projects on track
  • Enthusiasm for working in an entrepreneurial firm with a strong ambition for growth is essential
  • Strong research skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to ask questions when necessary
  • Strong overall understanding of digital marketing and social media
  • Mature and professional demeanor
  • B.S. or B.A Degree at a minimum
  • Major in Business, Economics, Accounting, Math or Statistics a plus

 

Compensation:

  • Salary to be determined commensurate with experience
