CBRE is searching for a top-notch Senior
Real Estate Manager (SREM) to oversee all operational, financial and
marketing activities at Seventeenth Street Plaza.


* Seventeenth Street Plaza
is located in Denver's CBD and is walking distance from Larimer Square, Union
Station and Coors Field. This modernized Class AA, 695,372 square foot,
32-story office tower attracts major tenants due to its host of amenities,
beautifully landscaped outdoor plaza and unbeatable downtown location. The
property is managed by CBRE and owned by Equity Commonwealth.


Acts as primary contact with Equity
Commonwealth's Asset Manager to ensure that objectives are being met at the

Provides formal supervision to a
team, approves recommendations for staff recruitment, promotion or termination,
delivers performance appraisals for staff, mentors team members to further
develop competencies.

Works in conjunction with the
on-site leasing team, showing space to prospective tenants as needed.
Coordinates tenant move-ins and move-outs, and walk-throughs with

Manages/oversees all building
construction projects (capital improvements, tenant build-outs, etc.).

Develops and tracks annual budgets
and forecasts for operating and capital expenses. Prepares monthly performance
package and explains variances.

Builds relationships with tenants. Responds
to tenant needs, ensuring that administrative and building technical staff
resolve problems promptly in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations,
contractual obligations and standards.

Conducts regular, periodic property
inspections. Recommends and/or approves alterations, maintenance and
reconditioning as necessary. Contracts for and supervises vendor services as

Collects rent and pays expenses in
compliance with lease terms. Reviews and reconciles tenant rent and Common Area
Maintenance (CAM) recovery charges.

Prepares all required legal notices.
Recommends and coordinates legal action as necessary.

Develops business relationships
through membership and participation in professional, industry/trade and civic

Performs other duties as assigned.


Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of four to six years of related experience and/or training.


Real estate license required. CPM or RPA professional designation or candidacy preferred.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.


Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.  Familiarity with lien waiver process and strong background in managing construction projects


Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.


Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.  Experience in budgeting software
(i.e. Argus DCF, Argus Enterprise, MRI or Realogic).
