Position Brief – Marketing Coordinator

This position is responsible for participating in and coordinating the marketing and branding functions for the Company.  This individual must possess a high level energy and a collaborative spirit, and exhibit an unwavering attention to detail/accuracy. Daily focus will be on enhancing and promoting this successful Company.  This position has advancement opportunities and will report to the VP, Bus. Devt., CIO and VP, Communications.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assemble marketing materials, project proposals and company branding that contribute to the market recognition and promotes Company’s growth;

  • Create and maintain updated collateral materials, e.g., company prospectus, targeted quarterly newsletters /or mailings, client and project lists, appropriate eBlasts, testimonials;

  • Assist Sales personnel with all proposals, ensuring accurate, up-to-date and sophisticated presentations;

  • Compile physical and digital corporate presentations for various existing and potential clients and projects, including team bios, pictures and representative project narratives;

  • Attend Sales meetings, record Minutes and provide creative input;

  • Ensure all projects have appropriate Company signage - order when needed;

  • Under the direction of the CIO, contribute to website content (Company news, current events, etc.);

  • Design and place all approvedadvertisements in the most significant trade publications with Team input;

  • Devise company’s social media postings, in conjunction with the CIO and Communications;

  • Oversee/coordinate Company “identity material” (business cards, letterhead, stationery);

  • Coordinate tradeshow needs and ensure prospective client interaction with state-of-the-art booths;

  • Maintain company logo-wear inventory, ensuring the items promote a consistent professional image, including branding on all projects’ site materials (hard hats, truck fleet and signage);

  • Photograph or coordinate photographer for all completed and projects-under-construction for marketing purposes;

  • Work with Communications to ensure regular and timely press releases and published articles;

  • Coordinate/design ads for all charitable functions, organizations and causes thatsupports;

  • As directed, spearhead company events and assist with event planning;

  • Develop public campaigns to promote corporate citizenship, highlight community involvement and garner recognition.

  • Ideal Candidate:

    • Min. 3 years’ experience from a construction, real estate development or architectural/ engineering firm;
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications strongly desired;
    • Highly proficient with MS Office software as well as the Adobe Creative Suite/Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator;
    • Demonstrated social media skills (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn);
    • Engaged in or able to network with charitable, non-profit and civil organizations;
    • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills;
    • Aptitude to be detail-oriented, yet flexible, in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and simultaneous deadlines;
    • Possesses excellent collaborative skills to work in partnership with colleagues and serve as Company cheerleader;
    • Strong work ethic with a high degree of creativity and motivation to implement Company ideas.
